Visa Application

Passport holders of China, India, Russia, Philippine, NIS countries and other nationalities that do not have visa exemption agreements with Japan require entry visa to Japan.
Check to see if you require visa through “Guide to Japanese Visa” at the website of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.

The 57th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Neurology can issue visa support letters for speakers, chairs, guests, participants with abstract submissions, and their accompanying persons. If you require one, please fill out the “Visa Support Request Form” completely from the following URL by April 15, 2016.

Please note that we are unable to assist with any requests received after the deadline. As the visa application process requires minimum of 4-6 weeks, we suggest you to start the application procedure well in advance.

Please also note that the documents issued by the organizer do not assure the applicants of obtaining the visa but will be judged by the Japanese Embassy or Consulate where you have applied for your visa. The Japanese Embassy or Consulate may also have their own separate requirements for other documents.
