Koji Abe
President
61st Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Neurology
Professor, Department of Neurology,
Okayama University
Okayama, Japan

It is my great pleasure to invite all of you Neurologists and Neuroscientists to attend 61st Japan Neurology Meeting going to be held here in Okayama city on August 31-September 2, which was postponed from May 20-23, 2020 due to pandemic CORONA problem (COVID-19). This meeting expects more than 7,000 neurologists and neuroscientists from Japan and the world, for active discussions and making international friends. In the present meeting, half sessions are English-talking and plenty of young bursaries are prepared for young neurologists and neuroscientists from Asia and other countries. Okayama city is located just in the center of the most beautiful in-land sea in Japan, may provide you traditional old Japanese tastes, and is convenient to visit nearby cities such as Kyoto, Osaka, Kobe, Hiroshima, and Shikoku district. Because year 2020 is the Olympic year (August 2020 in Tokyo), you may even stay longer in Japan from May in Okayama to August in Tokyo. Thus I strongly encourage young neurologists and neuroscientists from Asia and other countries to submit English abstracts, come join our meeting, meet old friends, and make new friends. I am very looking forward to seeing you soon here in Okayama on August 31-September 2, 2020.

Koji Abe, M.D., Ph.D.
